Program Overview

The International College of Robotic Surgery (ICRS), a subsidiary of Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta, is a center for training and innovation offering advanced robotic surgery training for surgeons and their team members. Our goal is to share our knowledge and team experience along with innovative methods in robotic surgery to impact the future of medicine. Through our extensive programming, ICRS can facilitate benefits for new and existing robotic programs in a variety of ways.

Total Team Training Solutions

ICRS enhances robotic surgery training via a "Total Team Training Approach." Each member of our robotic team will partner with the corresponding member of your team to ensure that specific needs are addressed. ICRS sets the standard in training robotic surgeons and their respective surgical teams, calling forth a paradigm shift from contemporary medical training practices.

Comprehensive Training Services

ICRS offers a complete set of services to guide you through the clinical pathway. Depending on where your team is in its ability to offer robotic procedures, we can customize your training package. The ICRS comprehensive training package and auxiliary services offers a step by step guide on your way to certification for robotic cardiac surgery.

Advanced Robotic Revascularization Online Training

The ICRS Training Website offers tremendous educational value. Users can subscribe and access narrated audiovisual modules as well as quizzes, edited cases, and other powerful educational topics. You can study at your own pace and refer back to the content at any time during the year. Examples of courses include:

  • Building a Successful Robotic Surgery Program
  • Single Vessel Beating Heart Totally Endoscopic Coronary Artery Bypass (TECAB)
  • Robotic Revascularization for the Tableside Assistant
  • Robotic Revascularization for the Scrub Nurse
  • Robotic Revascularization for the Circulating Nurse

"Because of our dedication to sharing our expertise in order to positively impact the future of medicine, we created a comprehensive training package with surgeons, hospitals, and patients in mind.
